Spanish Civil War & Locomotives Series nº 5 - by Carlos Briz

(Class 4021 locomotive - Madrid-Zaragoza-Alicante Railways)

Here you have two more dioramas related to the Spanish civil war, this time devoted to the Nationalist side, who undoubtedly had the best war materiel and supplies, who on top of that were available on a regular basis.

The Republicans had mostly grit on their side...

The Fiat CR-32 was sturdy and manouverable and made a relevant contribution during this conflict
At the start of WWII, however, the Hurricane and the Spitfire proved it's vulnerability

The Fiat G-50 served with the Aviazzione Legionaria during 1938, although in small numbers

There were some G-50's sent to Belgium during the Battle of Britain, who were hoplessly outgunned and outclassed by modern British fighters
