WWII Locomotives & War Series nº 68 - by Carlos Briz

(Class V 36 locomotive - German State Railways)

Nope, there is no Christmas break for CB!

Who cares about any kind of break, when you have a Dornier Do 18-G lying on your workbench?

I wouldn't, but CB is made of another kind of material that does not know the meaning of the word "lazy"!

That is a really cool seaplane, with a really cool weathering technique.

What better than a crane to lift a guy from the water? And a cool crane at that...

This is another great dio, CB!

My guess is that you still have time to finish another one before New Year...

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all!!!!

WWII Locomotives & War Series nº 67 - by Carlos Briz

(Class V 36 locomotive - German State Railways)

I told you!

Nobody can act surprised, since I warned you fair and square that CB was on a "seaplane mode".

And here you have one again!

That Blohm & Voss "Seedrache" (sea dragon) looks really cool on that landing dock, and a guy feels inclined to take a ride in it.

Another day, another great dio!

I wonder if CB is going to take a Christmas break....

WWII Locomotives & War Series nº 66 - by Carlos Briz

  Trucks - Wiking.
(Class V 36 locomotive - German State Railways)

What is this?

Are we witnessing another competition between CB and ML?

A guy can only conclude that, since imediately after our last post, related to a ML fine dio, CB sent us another fine dio, real quick.

Take it easy guys! We don't want you guys to blow an artery or something...

Or do we...?

As you can see, CB is in a "seaplane mode" and brings us another great example of that, this time a fine Heinkel He 115.

Although having a slow speed, this piece of hardware provided a good service for the German side in the early stages of the war, when it was used as a torpedo bomber against the artic convoys, that transported supplies by  sea to the Soviet Union.

Check it out! CB brings us another outstanding dio!

That beach looks so fine a guy feels inclined to take a dive, even in cold weather.

This Viking flying boat is a sight for sore eyes.

It was the largest flying boat flying around during WWII

CB: bring it, since we like it!
