The guys from BT were present in another edition of this outstanding anual event, that took place in the air museum of the Portuguese Air Force Base AM-1, located in Maceda, Ovar, to promote wargaming.
As usual, there were a lot of good quality models exhibited, within an inspiring setting.
Here you can see PC playing a DBA wargame (Spartans vs. Thebans) with a young full-fledged airforce pilot (or close to it...).
After taking this pic, PC tried to board this A-7 P Corsair to take it for a ride around the base.
He even showed his driving licence to the nice airforce police people that prevented him from doing it, but they were not convinced...
Here we have JF standing next to the same airplane.
He also tried to board it, but he could not do it.
However, his failure was due to another reason: he could not fit in...
Profiting from a momentary distraction from the airforce police officers, PC finnaly managed to board this airplane (C-212 Aviocar) and take it for a ride around the base!
Look! This one was large enough for even JF to fit inside it!
This is a BIG airforce hangar!
We managed to play a few DBA wargames.
Here my Numidian army was set against the Early Imperial Romans.
Great paint job, huh?
You can readily see I was not the one who did it. This is JF artwork!
JF did a nice paint job, but managed to lose my Gn element!
You are in trouble for this, dude!
After all these years, DBA is still my favourite wargame. I love this game!
