The Brigada Tripeira in "Modelismo em Maceda" - Otan Air Force Base

The Brigada Tripeira wargaming Group, participated in another "Modelismo em Maceda", an annual modeling event that in recent years has been made in the NATO Air Base in Maceda (Aeródromo de Manobra Nº 1 - Ovar).

This year we carry out a Battlegroup demo game, with an "High Ground" scenario.

I present you a few pictures of the event.

WWI Locomotives & War - by Carlos Briz

Figures - Pendraken

(Class S 131 locomotive - Russian Imperial State Railways)

It is WWI again!

This time CB brings us another great dio, featuring a cavalry skirmish across a railway line, in a forgotten railway station in the middle of Mother Russia!

But this time the adversaries of the Russians are soldiers from the Ottoman Empire, during the Caucasus Campaign.

The Ottomans had a bad time trying to stave off the Russian troops, until 1917. However, the effects of the Russian Revolution soon began to be reflected in the discipline and combat readiness of the Russian Imperial Army, leading to the Armistice of Erzincan (December 5, 1917), that ended the war between these two nations.

Keep bringing more goodies CB!

WWI Locomotives & War - by Carlos Briz

Figures - Irregular

(Class 422 locomotive - Belgian State Railways)

This time CB brings us a "massacre near the railroad track"!

That's right, this time CB placed a lot of casualties in this dio, all a lot of blood and guts around, maybe with the intention of signaling the massacre that the German army made, when it first entered Belgium, at the beginning of the war.

This is CB's second dio in a row, related to WWI.

This only shows all you guys that the BT blog is in touch with all the memorials that, all over Europe, are related to remembering the centenial of WWI.

By the way, there are some great news coming up!

CB is going to lose is head ( and open his purse...) and organize something BIG, early next year, and all the followers of the BT blog are already priority guests!

Stay tunned!
